It seems that she was not invited. Perhaps she'd given the organisers prior notice of her having decided not to play. There's no doubting that it's not for nothing that she's rated over 2700. I would have liked to see her play at Wijk-aan-Zee. We may never know why she will not have (if, indeed, she does not - one possibility is that she could be a last-minute replacement). There's always Linares. There's always 2005. Best Mark |
