I would agree with this. For me, it's important to remember that
Shredder's analysis lines, like Fritz' analysis lines or, for that
matter, Kasparov's analysis lines are not "set in stone", so to speak,
inasmuch as chess has not yet been solved. It's always best to check
*any* analysis *oneself*, I find.

I just got a feeling of "deja vu" ;-)--Mark

Trolling idiot Lance,

You have made a direct request that I respond to this trollpost. OK
then.

In the by now well-established tradition of Jacques Derrida I shall
deconstruct one tiny part of what you have written. If you feel that I
have failed to do so accurately, I shall go on to deconstruct
*another* part of it.

Mark,

Chess is solved with the advent of the 32 Tablebases that is being
developed as we speak.

"...the 32 Tablebases..."

Hmmmm.... which 32 tablebases might those be?

1 ) Kk
2 ) Kkp
3 ) KkP
4 ) KkB
5 ) Kkb
6 ) Kkn
7 ) KkN
8 ) KkR
9 ) Kkr
10) Kkq
11) KkQ
12) Kkpp
13) KkpP
14) KkPP
15) Kkpb
16) KkpB
17) Kkpn
18) KkpN
19) KkpR
20) Kkpr
21) Kkpq
22) KkpQ
23) KkPb
24) KkPB
25) KkPn
26) KkPN
27) KkPR
28) KkPr
29) KkPq
30) KkPQ
31) Kkbb (both bishops on same colour complex)
32) Kkbb (bishops on each colour complex)

Did you have a *different set* of 32 Tablebases in mind, troll?

It's just a matter of storage and time now, perhaps a gigazillion
exabytes and/or exazillion years?

Lance Smith

ROTFLMAO!

What a jerk. Thanks for playing. D'you wanna play again?

Mark Houlsby

For your information, the 3, 4, 5, and 6-man Nalinov Tablebases are
now available in the website of Robert Hyatt. Just browse around until
you find the directory named '42'. In there you'll find what you need
to play chess endgames in the technology as we know it today.

How about the 32-man tablebases? That will solve chess.

Anymore questions?

Lance Smith
