Default Recommendation - book of commented games

Is there any "best" book of commented games that I should look for as a
beginner? I appreciate the value of such an approach, and have seen that
there are dozens of them out there.

Thanks,

Kirk

Chernev's Logical Chess is probably more basic than the Tartakower book, as
is Euwe's Chess Master vs. Chess Amateur. Both are basically just annotated
games. Maybe Reinfeld's book on Capablanca too (I haven't read it though).
None of these books has nearly as many games as Tartakower's though.

Best Lessons of a Chess Coach is good for the starting out beginner.

For a begginer I would recommend Chernev's "Logical Chess: Move by Move". It
comments every move on every game and explains its implications. It even
explains 1.e4.

I've leafed through that book and I quite like it. I was impressed
that I didn't find it patronizing (while I'm not a very strong player,
I'm certainly not a beginner) and it seemed to give useful advice.

I've seen that one, and it does indeed look to be very useful.

Thanks,
