I want to do some computer analysis of some Bobby Fischer games. I'm looking
for a few games that are considered his best, from 1st move to last move, not games with just one or two brilliant moves. Any suggestions for any games that qualify will be greatly appreciated. Dave |

Why don't you look at Fischer's 60 memorable games book, the games were
actually chosen by Fischer himself - you can't get higher recommendation that that Although he left his game of the century game against Byrne out - thats my favourite Can't remember the year but if you are a chessplayer you'll know which one I mean "NoKetch" wrote in message ... Dave Here you go Dave, ftp://136.142.185.47/group/student-a...s/PGN/Players/ Look for 'fis60-pg.zip' for his 60 Memorable games in PGN, also there is 'fisch-pg.zip' (and loads of other players). All you need is Winzip to extract, and away you go. Simon |

I've never seen it. I use bookfinder.com to locate out of print, collectable (or just used) books. It's the website of a worldwide network of booksellers. I got my copy via eBay 2-3 years ago. I think I paid something in the neighborhood of $50. Interestingly, the seller was Bill Brock, who I see has a contribution to this thread. Keep in mind that Fischer was 16 when he wrote this book. The annotations are not nearly of the depth found in MSMG, but nevertheless reflect a completely mature sensibility. Twenty-five of its 94 pages of games are unannotated games from the 1958 Interzonal. The dedication is "To my chess teacher, Carmine Nigro." Bob Musicant Norwalk CT |

I've had the book since 1958, I believe, shortly after it was published. I think the Interzonal games were added at the last minute. I suspect a fair amount of the verbiage and organization owed something to cooperation/collaboration with John W. Collins. Bob Musicant Norwalk CT |
