Default Q+P vs Q, BCE, CL

I wrote a note in my old copy of BCE concerning Q + NP on the 7th vs Q
(diagram 1059 in the new edition). The note says that NP wins,
according to Chess Life, July 1985, page 48. However, it sure seems
to be a draw. I don't have easy access to old CL issues; did I
misinterpret something in that CL article?
