Default Help on Chessmaster 9000

When I play in the "game room" to mess around with
unrated blitz, the attacked pieces are shaded as sort
of a training feature. It is driving me bonkers, and I
can't for the life of me figure out how to turn it off.
Any ideas? Thanks,
Tom

Coach, Teaching mode, Teaching mode off. In fact you can set on or off a
number of things in that menu.
