Default Legal threats from Polgar and Truong

Liam,

Everyone knows I'm from Chicago. But you are wrong that I worked for a deaf
school. As you are wrong that there is another "Masked Bishop" running
around, named Ron, or Sutton, or Jay, or Rhodes, or whatever. All false
clues to throw the dogs off.

The "deaf school" to which you refer was a domain that I briefly used as a
return address, but I never worked there. It was meant to be a subtle joke.
There's no c4.com either, in case you haven't figured that one out yet. And
looky-here, I just changed it again, just for you...

Keep digging!

Long time ago, you cannot just use a domain name without really being
associated with the owner. With the current technology, of course
anyone can use anything now.

I don't have to dig more, but I won't divulge.

Whatever you say, Lance. Maybe it has occured to you that, in my line of
work, I may have access to many domains? Perhaps I even...consulted for
them? Built their servers? Hmm?

I don't have to dig more, but I won't divulge.

Whatever you say, Lance.

Remember too, that TMB is also commonly used in the biz for "test mailbox."
You should also know that I no longer live in Illinois, but I'm sure you
won't believe that; you haven't believed anything else I've told you, all of
which has been true.

If you only know what I do in real life, then you'll understand why I
know what I know. But then again, it's my secret to keep.

Life goes on...

BTW, Liam is J.S. and Liam Too is Lance Smith

All the best, Lance

So Lance.....

Is the "real" Liam really dead, as suspected by several of our beloved RGCP
posters?

Regards,

Matt

For whatever it's worth, Lance Smith ("Liam Too") also has written that he has
access to 'inside information' (not a quotation of him) about Bobby Fischer
from private sources in the Philippines.

Thanks. Also for whatever it's worth: I choose the Masked Bishop moniker
because I was going to use an alias on the usenet regardless, and it seemed
more amusing (and honest) to use one that's so obviously silly, rather than
just make up a name or use the word "mail" backwards.

My reasons for using an alias are not because I'm some secret insider in the
US Chess community, but because I think the Usenet is a pretty lawless, wild
place, and I believe it pays to protect one's identity from people one
doesn't, and can't, know.

Especially when one knows that one is going to be confrontational and irascible
with many of one's postings.
