I lose to 1800s with everything, even dancing naked around the chess board
doesn't seem to help. "Alex Dvorak" wrote in message om... I played e4 like Bobby Fischer but I still lose. Then I tried the sicilian like Bobby and still no good. @yahoo.com says... I don't do too well against people 600+ points over my rating either. :-) I recently read an article of Dan Heisman's regarding using Fritz to analyze your games. Maybe you should get a copy and run your games through it's analysis mode. I find it helpful. At least then you can tell what you are doing wrong. In you 3rd game, it didn't like 9. Ne5 and recommended d4 instead. Dan has plenty of other articles for improving your game. Marty I played e4 like Bobby Fischer but I still lose. Why don't you quit chess? You can't beat 1800's. Take up knitting or something. EZoto |

Crafty will also analyse your games for you, with the advantage that it's free. It's a weaker program than Fritz but that's not a significant problem as both Crafty and Fritz are vastly stronger than the average casual human player. I find it helpful. Definitely, yes.
