Does anyone else think that this famous game is overrated?
I think it has two really good moves in it - 24.Rxd4 and 37.Rd7 - but apart from that it seems a little too one-sided to be a great game. I prefer games where both sides have chances, like some of Kasparov's games with Karpov. Alan |

Alan Alan, The analysis is extraordinarily complex, but the consensus of opinion seems to be that move after move GK had only one not-easy-to-identify correct move to maintain his advantage, and that move after move he found it. This could well be the greatest game ever played. Bob |

I may be a philistine, but there are some games that, when I play over them I go slowly, and some I go quickly. K v T WaZ 1999 is definitely a quick one. Alan |
