I'm an avid reader of many of Gambit's offerings
(http://www.badbishop.com/gambit/completebooks.html), but looking at their
'forthcoming releases' I'm beginning to wonder if they aren't struggling to
make ends meet. Seems like the book-topics are becoming more and more nebulous,
by heretofore unknown authors (at least to me)....

It's true that they only list three titles as forthcoming on their website,
but "Chess For Children" lists GM Chandler as an author, and Improve Your
Attacking Chess is written by IM Simon Williams (who previously did Play the
Classical Dutch for Gambit). They list a fourth book, by frequent author IM
Steffen Pedersen, on the French Tarrasch and other lines, as delayed.

I hope they are doing OK. The vast majority of the decent books on openings
seem to be Gambit ones.

I wouldn't put much into a book being delayed, since book authors
notoriously struggle to finish their books.
