I know this is from left field but I thought I'd give it a whirl. I
read a fictional article in a chess magazine, maybe 5 years ago, about a guy who had woke up one day and was "blessed" with having the ability to make the perfect chess move in every situation. He was unbeatable and would only lose when it was intentional so as to not blow his cover. Does anyone remember reading this? If so, do you have any idea where I can find it? Thanks. |

Yes, I remember it. My guess would be Chess Horizons around 1990, but that's a pretty hazy guess. I'm sure I have it in a box someplace, if someone else can narrow it down more. Matt |
