Real chess rules
In some openings-like the Queen's Indian and the Caro-Kann-black might get the bright idea to develop his QB outside the pawn chain. He'll play .Bf5 followed by .e6. This always ends in disaster; usually by either a knight or a bishop landing on b5 or c6. If you play 1.e4 and your opponent strikes out with 1.c5, you can quite confidently resign straight away. You let your opponent play .Nxc2 and Nxa1, thinking that you'll get an attack. The attack will come to nothing and the knight will escape. If you play a Reversed Defence-Reversed King's Indian, Reversed Sicilian-you will lose. If your opponent is in a strait-jacket and can only move his passed a-pawn the a-pawn will cause massive, massive disruption and you will lose. If you offer a draw and it is accepted you will find out later that you had a win. |
