Default Scam Spam Boasts of Stealing Photographs

Heil Dubya!

If Scam Spam uses ANY of my photographs -- no matter where published -- he will
find himself sued. This is a promise, as well as a threat. ALL of my
published photographs -- among them hard copy and internet -- are published
subject to a license contract between the publisher and me. NO ONE ELSE (and,
in the case of Scam Spam, NOTHING ELSE) has permission to use the results of my
labor, WITHOUT MY SPECIFICALLY GIVEN PERMISSION.

(For the unwary, I have succeeded twice in getting payment for unauthorized use
of my photographs, simply by hiring a lawyer to represent me. I never have
gone to court, but, believe me, I would go to court, if necessary, to prevent
and/or penalize exploitation of my labor.)

I received a similar letter from Hanon Russell some years ago
demanding that I remove a picture of Raymond Weinstein from my
website: http://www.samsloan.com/weinste.htm

Mr. Russell said that the picture belonged to Edward Winter and my
posting of it was a copyright violation.

I wrote back that that picture was published in Chess Review Magazine
in 1961 and unless Mr. Winter could produce evidence that he had
purchased the copyright from Chess Review his claim was not valid.

I never heard from Mr. Russell again.

Heute Uhmuhrikkka, Afghanistan, Irak und Haïti. Morgen die ganze Welt!

Uhmuhrikkka, Uhmuhrikkka über Alles!

(The more information that comes out about the attacks on the Twin Towers and
the Pentagon of 11 September 2001 the more it appears that those attacks were
organized by the rulers of the United States and were intended to have the same
effect on the people of the United States that the Reichstag fire had on the
people of Germany in 1933.)

Fight terrorism! Dissolve the CIA and disarm the Pentagon! (I have been
watching the hearings of the Commission to investigate the attacks on the Twin
Towers and the Pentagon of 11 September 2001. As a result, I have become
convinced that every one of the witnesses and their four Presidents - and every
one of the Commissioners - should be tried for:
(1. Conspiracy to commit terrorism; and/or
(2. Commission of terrorist acts; and/or
(3. Conspiracy to commit murder; and/or
(4. Commission of murder; and/or
(5. Treason; and/or
(6. Suborning one or more of the above acts.)

Good for you.

When I put on the net a scan of a photo from Patzer magazine (this was
published in London in the early seventies), I had the permission of the
subject, the photographer, and the magazine's owner.

Regards,

Simon.
