Ponomariov and championship
It seems Ponomariov I still willing to puruant to the agreement that
he and FIDE had when he won the title. (and here I'm not talkign abotu reunification because ultimately it appears the parites couldn't agree on that. Whatever "title" Ponomariov held ... well, what would it be? Some kind of
speedgame knockout tournament, where advances through the rounds could be settled by blitz? Tournaments like that are held all the time, why is the one Ponomariov won considered so special?
