Ive seen it listed in endgame books but I cant seem to find out what it is. King moves diagonally as fast as horizontally: Kh8 can reach h2 via h5 or e5, and although the second maneuver is geometrically longer, it takes the same number of moves. The ur=example is: W: Kh8 Pc6 B: Ka6 Ph6 white plays and draws. This looks hopeless: Black's king stops the white pawn from promoting, and the white king is far behind the black pawn. 1. Kg7! h5 2. Kf6! h4 3. Ke5! and if black plays h3, the white king suddenly supports the white pawn, and draws.
