Default Kasparovto write extra Predecessors book

Due to the sheer weight of material it has been decided that the remaining
books in the series need to be restructured. Essentially volume three will
no longer contain Fischer (as planned previously) and an additional volume
(Volume IV - the 'Best of the West') will be introduced, covering Bobby
Fischer (in greater detail) and Bent Larsen with new material on Reshevsky.
It is anticipated that Volume III will be published in October 2004 and that
volume IV will be ready by November. Garry Kasparov stated that he fully
intends to honour his promise to 'have Fischer in the bookstore before
Christmas'.

The publishers were unhappy at the growing size of the originally intended
volume III (650 pages+) and the authors were unhappy at the prospect of
cutting large amounts of material and so this decision has been reached. It
is anticipated that Volumes III and IV will together have around 700 pages
of material.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused to buyers or sellers of the books,
but the authors felt this change was necessary to maintain the spirit of the
work

Great news!
So Volume III is presumably Petrosian, Spassky & Karpov and
Volume IV is Reshevsky, Fischer & Larsen.
I will be looking forward to it.

GK is at the London Chess Centre in July.

I guess you are referring to the English edition ,not the original Russian edition.
