Default Play free server based correspondence chess at SchemingMind.com

Hi,

SchemingMind.com is a small and friendly online community of chess players
where you can play turn based correspondence chess and chess variants. You
don't require any special software to play chess on SchemingMind; everything
runs in your web browser. You can also join in the lively discussion
forums.

Some of the features of the site are -

All your moves are stored on the server - no need for your own record
keeping, email notifications are automatically sent to your opponent when
you move.

An interactive playing area; enter moves with your mouse and 'scroll
through' games using the VCR style controls.

An interactive analysis board; try out different moves before committing
yourself.

Conditional moves; enter a whole sequence of moves for your opponent to
accept or decline and speed up agreed openings or forced endgames.

Chess variants; Fischer Random Chess, Alice Chess, Shatranj, CrazyHouse,
Suicide, Atomic, KriegSpiel and many more.

SchemingMind.com is free for lifetime 'standard' membership - as a standard
member you can play up to ten simultaneous games and join 'all play all'
tournaments started by full members.

If you do enjoy the site, you can upgrade to 'full' membership for a small
fee, but there is no commitment to do so.

If you are considering joining this site, then please remember that
SchemingMind.com is a correspondence chess site - if you want to play chess
in 'real time' then it isn't for you. Games can take days, weeks or even
months to complete.

Cheers,

Austin Lockwood (webmaster)
