I think the best move is 16. Nxe4. However, some people think the best
move may vary depending on the position of the pieces on the board. Of
course, if the move is actually 16. Nxe4++ then there can be no argument.

I like 15...Ne5.

Harold Buck's humourous position here reminds me of Wlodzimierz Holsztynski's
many characteristically self-evident 'proofs by assertion'. :-)

Some people prefer 13. O-O, but not me. I've never thought that
was the best move. And, of course, 9. . . . c4 is right out.
You can make an argument for 96. gxf8=R and I'd be willing to listen,
but you'll have to make a strong case. I just love that 16. Nxe4.

What do you think?

Black could play 15...dxe3 (en passant), in which case e4 would not be
occupied by a Black piece or pawn that 16 Nxe4 could capture. :-)

According to an article in the Cambridge University Chess Bulletin (Dragon)
from 1994, the magic move is 12. ... Kg6!!, as it had a 100% record (in the
two games considered).
