I want to teach my son to keep score using long algebraic notation, for example 1. e2-e4 Ng8-f6 2. Nb1-c3 d7-d5 I know that short algebraic notation is accepted as a method of keeping score in USCF tournaments. What about long algebraic?

What Does Susan Really Want? by samsloan
3) *M-not Sloan is taking cheap shots at the way a successful GM and her promoter(s) have handled her publicity and the numerous benefits American chess has received from that publicity. I agree, and I am sure that everyone else will agree, that Susan Polgar and her promoters have done a fantastic job of promoting Susan and thereby at promoting chess. However, she has not done anything to...

Joel Channing touched Beatriz Marinello by samsloan
I was at the board meeting in Connecticut when I saw the incident with my own eyes. Joel Channing was sitting next to Beatriz during the meeting. He kept putting his hand on her luscious thighs. She kept removing his hand and he kept coming back. After a while, he gave up on her thighs and went for her big fantastic bosoms. Joel Channing admitted that he touched Beatriz but insisted that it was...

USCF Forum Moderators Delete all criticism of "US Championship Patron entry fees" by samsloan
USCF Forum Moderators Delete all criticism of "US Championship Patron entry fees" Am I seeing things or did the moderators just remove two threads entitled: "US Championship Patron entry fees" and "Patron entry fees" ? The decision by Bill Goichberg to allow rank beginners to buy their way into the US Championship upon payment of $50,000 has to be the most outrageous and controversial action in...

The Sam Sloan test for the US Championship by samsloan
I would like to propose the Sam Sloan test. Any woman who qualifies for the US Championship must go through a Sam Sloan test. I will eat each of their pussies for 30 minutes. If they don't cum in that 30 minutes, it proves that they are not female and therefore, they should be disqualified. I also propose to test Beatriz Marinello. I can convert her. Sam Sloan

Bill Goichberg is Out Of Control by samsloan
Bill Goichberg is Out Of Control Bill Goichberg has been running amuck with announcements about the US Championship without consulting or even informing the board and certainly without any chance for deliberation or for a vote to be taken. When he decides to so something, he does not tell the rest of the board. He simply posts it on the USCF Home Page. Once Bill Goichberg posts something on the...

Sex-Based Slots for Women in the US Chess Championship by samsloan
Sex-Based Slots for Women in the US Chess Championship Here again, Bill Goichberg is making a decision without consulting or even informing the board. We passed a motion at the board meting on February 4, 2007 to stop Bill from doing this, yet he continues.

Tanner Resignation and the Board Vote to Censure Sam Sloan by samsloan
Robert Tanner resigned from the Board on December 4, 2006. The very next day, December 5, 2006, the Board Voted to Censure Sam Sloan. The board motion to censure me, which passed 3-0-4, was posted on the chess newsgroups on December 5, 2006. You can find it at:

Patron Entry Fees by samsloan
Once Bill Goichberg posts something on the home page of the USCF website, it becomes a fait accompli. There is almost nothing we can do about it. We certainly cannot take it off the website. Only Bill can do that. This keeps happening. In October, 2006, Bill Goichberg posted a list of qualifying tournaments to the US Championship without board approval. Then, on December 27, 2006, Bill...

Please feel sorry for me by samsloan
I don't have enough love. Not too many people care about me. People like Don Schultz, Leroy Dubeck and Beatriz Marinello only want to use me for their own misdeeds. I don't feel that I belong anywhere unless I pay for it. All I want is to find some true friends. Will you be me friend? Will you vote for me in the next election? Please? Sam Sloan

US Championship Patron entry fees by samsloan
Once again, Bill Goichberg has made an announcement on the USCF website without informing the other board members and without submitting it to a vote. This time, he announced his "US Championship Patron entry fees" by which even a class C player or even a rank beginner can get into the US Championship by paying an entry fee of as much as $50,000. I do not object to the plan so much as I object...
