I'm looking for the word that means "a set of chess moves from a particular position". Anybody know the best word to use? "Variation" or "Continuation" seem too specific. I'm looking for a more general term. For example, the term "Variation" can not be used to refer to "a set of chess moves from a particular position" if those moves are part of the main line. To seconds per move would be best. I have played so many games of Blitzin using 2 min start and 12 seconds per move that my game is way too fast, but playing at a higher setting for people that take longer to move would still seem to be the best way to play.
