Is he the greatest chess author ever? I don't ever recall him putting out a bad book and his books are great learning tools. There are players who wrote one great book or a couple of them but his seem to stand out. Any comments? EZoto

Back in the 70's when I was most active, there were maybe 80 Grandmasters. Now there are almost 1000!!! Is it because of title inflation, better study methods, better tools(computers), or more folks playing chess...? I would like to know your opinions. Thanks!
