"Joshua B. Lilly" wrote in message ... Yeah, it`s complete nonsense. There are anti-Zionist Israeli citizens who are also in the religion of Judaism. Dear Mr Lilly, Yes, I know some anti-Zionist Jews, some of whom hold Israeli citizenship. Also, many citizens of Israel (Arabs, Druze) would *not* be considered Jewish n any sense....

Fritz 8 Help by Matt Nemmers
I've recently had to re-install Fritz 8 on my laptop. I go to File, Print, Publish Game to publish my games on my various websites and after it asks for a filename and I select a directory to save the files to, it acts like it's publishing. After about 20 seconds, I get this pop-up message: "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error!

A short draw betweem Kasimdzhanov and Topalov, although Topalov has (very slightly) more than just equalized with black, wonder why he did not play on .... Radjabov v Adams is developing into an interesting QGA ...

The Double Dragonslayer by PeteCasso
Gosh, I went to the bathroom and when I returned, Grischuk has gone down the drain as well ... Kasimdzhanov has knocked out Grischuk and Ivanchuk, the #4 and #5 seeds, and considering Morozevich not being there, Kazimdzhanov actually eliminated the #3 and #4 seeds. Will he be able to knock out the #1 seed Topalov in the next round?

Bobby Fischer in Tripoli by The Green Bastard from Parts Unknown
Having followed the learned arguments on rgcm, I can only conclude that the 3041 performance rating alleged to belong to Veselin Topalov in fact is the consequence of a brilliant ruse by none other than Robert James Fischer. I have seen these games myself and I can assure you that no-one other than the great man himself is capable of +9 =1 -0 against world class competition. There will be...

ouch, a non-game ... by PeteCasso
.... between Radjabov and Domingues, they will play coffee house type 5 minute games to decide the match between them, what a disgrace for a worldchampionship ... Grischuk is pressing very hard with the white pieces in his must win game ....

Radjabov equalized in wcc round 5 game 2 ... by PeteCasso
.... with an ultra-sharp Sicilian! Looking forward to the blitz games between the two! All other games are exciting too and are still on-going as of writing: Kharlov pressed and pressed until Topalov felt the need to sacrifice a Knight and then the exchange for a total sacrifice of a rook for 4 pawns in a formidable centre pawn structure. But I'm not sure if that's enough compensation for a...

Bobby Fischer On ICC by DAlSault
Seems just Deus Ex Machina people. You don't have to look outside the ICC crew for the Fischer God. Go around the corner and part the curtain to see the real Mighty Oz. Viewing the arguments, it seems an inside job: a custom program with no book, running from or specially connected to the ICC server itself. People seem to forget how geekified ICC was, is, and always will be. Sqreater

Vadim Milov Speaks Out On Racism !! by Parrthenon
The following item is in Chess Life, July 2004, page 39 (Evans On Chess): RELIGION Michael Odell Worcester, Massachusetts Q. I was wondering about the religious beliefs and practices of some of the great players. Could you fill us in on the religions (or lack thereof) of Capablanca, Alekhine, Morphy, Fischer, Kasparov and other chess notables?

chessbase are a bunch of Nazi scum by Laird
http://www.chessbase.com/index.asp FIDE WCC R5-1: Can anyone stop this man? 28.06.2004 Nine games, eight wins. That's Veselin Topalov's record so far in Tripoli. The number one seed is playing like a Bulgarian possessed. His latest victim was Kharlov in the first game of the quarterfinals. Adams, Dominguez, and Kasimdzhanov also won. All four games were full-bodied battles with white winning...

The Navy and Air Force each scored 32 points at this years Interservice Chess Championships at Keesler AFB, making them co-champions for 2004. They were followed closely by the Army in third with the Marine Corps taking fourth. The tournament was won outright by PN1(SW) Narcisso Victoria. The tournament was a real nail-biter going into the final rounds. The Navy trailed the Air Force by three...

Bobby Fischer is the greatest and he is playing today by EWOH27
Of course fischer is a fantastic player , arguably the best ever, but even at his peek he surely did not crush his rivals with this force in blitz. Actually, he did. I'm no Fischer fan, but I know that in a blitz tournament in Yugoslavia in the 60's featuring most of the world's top GMs and all of the top blitz players of the day he won by a wide margin. I could actually look up the date,...
