Anyone bought this book yet? Thoughts?

Anyone know of a chess board and set with a cover?It would have to be a Staunton,or traditional tournament style,but the pieces could be smaller.The cover would prevent the f*****g cat from knocking my pieces all over the place.I could leave a position set up,and be able to come back to it later and study the position,instead of having to look all over the house for the missing piece. Does anybody know of a plugin or hidden option (I've looked hard and found nothing) that allows one to play blindfold chess against the computer in Fritz 8? My Chess Life arrived today. It looks like a NY Times insert. And it had an insert! Which almost doubled the total number of pages. It is a good thing that the USCF only has 90,000 members. If they had a monopoly they would probably go bankrupt.

Recently, I was involved in a situation as a spectator at a chess game. I was watching a game involving a friend of mine. He was in time Pressure, and had less than 5 minutes left on his clock, in a Sudden Death Time Control situation. Therefore, he no longer had an obligation to keep score.
