looking for the moves of a famous chess game by
Sterten
I'm looking for a
a chessgame played in an international world-champion level competition,
in which a black pawn, protected by a knight and a rook approaches
the queening square, and white concedes.
It must have been played before 1988, probably published to a wide audience in
USA,
maybe one of the players was Bobby Fischer, but I'm not sure.
"world-champion level" sounds like candidates...

Current state of MSA by
TR
Am I right to conclude that ratings are updating frequently (daily?)
on the MSA area of the USCF site, but that tournament history is not
currently being updated?
Thanks.

Feeble tacticians among Top chessplayers by
Laird
I recently read Euwe's book - The Developement of Chess Style.
The author says that players like Steinitz,Tarrasch and Reti
were feeble chess tacticians,in the meaning of Top chess players standards.
I'll be very interested to know the names of other Top chess players
relatively feeble tacticians.

Satan challenged God to a hell versus heaven chess match.
"Don't be silly," God said. "We have all the great players up here. You
wouldn't stand a chance."
"Don't be so sure of yourself," replied Satan. "We have all the TDs."

Ivan
In this article it says that several players from the chess community
including JUDIT POLGAR!!!! testified for Alex Sherzer. Who else was

Can anyone please tell me if there are any good tournaments coming up
in U.K.
I would prefer open tournaments. Also, if there are any upcoming
tournaments with team events. Since me and my team members will be
touring U.K. in November can you tell me if there are any such
tournaments in November or December. Also, if there are any good
websites which will carry such information about tournaments...

Lance Smith has just reiterated his *false statement*, which...
