I don't understand how he is able to outplay a bunch of other 2700s and be ahead by a nice margin i nthe tournament. What qualities does he posses which maks him such a good chess player?

I have had the program for about a month and also have installed the Nalinov tablebases. About 80% of the time when using Engine--game analysis--time/levels, the program goes though its analysis, inserts the opening games referenced and then fails to insert any analysis from the middle game onward.
