4.. 1.e4 System for White

This White system uses the Portuguese Opening (1.e4 e5 2.Bg5) against the
reply 1.e5 (it scores 60$% in Master practice). Some tricky Bishop's Opening
lines are also included.

Against all of the non-symmetrical King's Pawn defenses systems are given.
Since the Center-Counter Defense is very popular now two systems are given:
(1) Alekhine's Defense/Dunst Opening and (2) 2.d3 (an Endgame system).

5.. Franco-Benoni

This system for Black relies on the Barcza-Larsen and Keres Indian. If White
chooses to transpose to the Sicilian we use either the Kan or 3..b6 against
the c3-Sicilian. The Wade variation is used if White forces a French
defense.

7.. Queen's Gambit Defense for Black

Against the Queen's Gambit, the Albin Countergambit is recommended. This
includes a recent line of Morozevich where he plays Ne7 to recover the pawn.
White may cross up Black by playing 2.Nf3, then Black should try 2.Nc6
(Chigorin).
