Looking for website to play free, rated, browser-based, real-time chess. by
a little bird
I have been playing online turn-based chess (previously at GameKnot,
now at QueenAlice) for over two years.
I also play in OTB tournaments occasionally.
Three months later, I will be participating in a very important OTB
tournament. However, since I play turn-based chess every day, and OTB
only occasionally, I'm concerned that the time control (25 minutes per
player per game) will work against...

Hi,
I am completely useless at Chess!
Having said that, I have played the odd game against my smartphone over
the years (probably 5 games in 5 years!) and I quite fancied playing a
few email games against people from around the world, so email chess
seems the obvious answer.
I have never played correspondence chess before, so I have no clue
