So, did Sam make it back from under the bridge? ...........
See, http://www.samsloan.com/hearing-tomorrow.htm "Hearing Tomorrow in Goshen Supreme Court at 9:00 AM A hearing will take place tomorrow, Tuesday, November 30, 2004, at 9:00 AM sharp in the Orange County New York Supreme Court before Judge Lawrence Horowitz in courtroom 6 of the courthouse. There is no way to know how long the hearing will last. It might be over in two seconds or it might last all day. I also do not know whether there will be actual testimony. I do know that there will be no USCF employees present because they have been instructed not to attend. One prominent and well known chess player has told me that he is thinking of attending as a spectator. I would encourage any local chess players interested in such matters to attend, because this hearing is likely to determine the fate and future of the United States Chess Federation. The Short Line Bus Company goes from New York City to Goshen. Unfortunately, the first bus in the morning arrives at 10:03 AM. Since the hearing is scheduled at 9:00 AM, I am forced to go up the night before. I understand that there are some nice bridges to sleep under in Goshen." http://www.samsloan.com/hearing-tomorrow.htm |

"KidDon" wrote in message om... So, did Sam make it back from under the bridge? ........... Don't know. Do know he perjured himself and labeled Beatrice and Hanke as embezzlers who intend to run off to Chile with the money. Beatriz is being advised to move back to NY so that she can pursue damages. Embezzle is a libelous word when recorded in a court document. When she prevails she can lien Sam's S.S. check. Poetic justice. |

When she prevails she can
lien Sam's S.S. check. Can you actually lien a SS check? A reporter on The Tube the other day stated that OJ's NFL pension could not be lien'ed to pay the civil judgemnt against him. |

No,
You cannot place a lien against a contractual monetary aggangement that is already in the "pay out" portion. That is why money in alife policies cash value cannot be attached by creditors. Also monies in the pay out portion of a structured annunity cannot be attached either. That being said, I wonder if the money in the bank in New York converted the deposit into a single premium immediate annunity with an interest plus certain payout of five years would violate the court order? The deposit woud have remained with the bank under a contractual arrangement with the bank. Interest earned from the deposit would be a seperate issue altogether. It may also be able to assign those assetts to another entity. Assign those assetts to the bank in Tennessee for an equal amount of assetts at their bank. The Tenessee bank wouldnt care one way or the other. OTHERE (Fifiela) wrote in message ... When she prevails she can lien Sam's S.S. check. Can you actually lien a SS check? As I recall, OJ had millions in 401K's that his creditors couldn't get. Grant Perks |
