Paul Truong, PhD.

But yet on his private resume page, located at
http://members.aol.com/paultruong/page1.html, he does not list having a
PhD. I also find it very humorous that on his resume page, his lists
his Chess titles as Master Degrees. For example. 1981 Master Degree
(NM), USCF, New Windsor, NY

Since both of these webpages contain references up until and through
2001, it would appear that they were both written at the same time. So
how could he refer to himself as PhD and not include it on his resume?
Because he's a liar!

What I find most interesting about these two webpages is that they give
you a glimpse into Paul Truong's mind in 2001 and the grandiose plans
he had. Let's compare these plans to what actually happened..

* He states that he is the "Director of Operations / Senior Advisor,
Games Parlor, AOL - ENGAGE, Internet Game Servers" and he is 'Building
these Online Game Servers to become the largest Internet Game Servers
in the world by 2005. 'While he is still the Director of Operations of
Games Parlor's US Chess Live, the site is a joke. As I type this, there
are less than 200 players logged in. By comparison, ICC has on over
2000.

YOU FAILED PAUL!

* He states that his organization, Full Circle, is raising $3,000,000
for a Polgar-Xie Jun rematch. Did he ever raise the money? No! Did the
rematch ever take place? No!

* He states that his new National Youth Chess Foundation will reach
250,000 New York City Youth Chessplayers with an goal of 1,000,000
members. Did this National Youth Chess Foundation ever reach those
250,000 NYC Chessplayers? No! Did it ever reach it's goal of 1,000,000

information to determine who I am based upon my IP address. I am sure
that Mr. Berez and the other owners of Chess Live would be proud that
you are putting the power that they have entrusted to you to such a
constructive use as this. Perhaps if you had spent a fraction of the
time and energy that you dedicate to these childish acts to the server
itself, it wouldn't be the laughing stock of the Internet.

This brings up a very interesting point that I would like to raise with
the readers of this newsgroup, and in particular the members of the US
Chess Federation Executive Board. Considering that the vast majority of
Chess Live members are also members (both current and former) of the US
Chess Federation, what is the US Chess Federation's position on this
egregious violation of trust?

When you answer this question, please consider the following: As the
Director of Operations for Games Parlor, he has complete access to all
member information (name/address/telephone number/email) of tens of
thousands of USCF's members. Is the US Chess Federation comfortable
with an individual like Paul Truong having access to such highly
sensitive and confidential information through his relationship with
Games Parlor? His very actions right here, in this very newsgroup,
prove that he is willing to violate both the privacy policies of Chess
Live and the privacy of US Chess Federation members for his own
personal gain. Given your own various run-ins with Paul Truong and his
numerous 'personalities', like Bob Bennett, you are all well aware of
the depths that Mr. Truong will sink without regards to such concepts
as privacy.

Please also keep in mind that the organization in which Mr. Truong is
associated with has a long track record of questionable privacy
practices. There have been numerous threads about spyware in the
software and web page monitoring.

Because of my membership in the US Chess Federation and Paul's
involvement with GamesParlor, he has access to all of my personal
information, including home address and telephone number. There is no
telling what he will do.

For the sake and safety of your members, I urge the USCF to step
forward! Because you do not know who will be next - Maybe you!
