Lie upon lie, repeated a thousand times, is known to work. It worked in the
Third Reich, it works in the US, and lovely Wlod is trying to make it work
here.

Prompted for evidence, for proof, well, he resorts to abusive language; that
is all he has got. He is far above anything so mundane as proof for his
slander and libel.

How sad that this fine person is so far away. It would have been a great
pleasure to sue him for his last dollar. But alas, the US protects even its
most criminal citizens.

Poland was under the German WWII occupation the longest,
from the fall of 1939 to spring of 1945, or more than
five years. Polish troops were fighting Germany on all
fronts! But Poland as such was a victim. The occupation
in Poland was one of the harshest if not the harshest
Ukraina, parts of Russia, Yougoslavia also suffered,
but at least not that long. And the western countries had
it easy, relatively easy.

Poland was tricked into a hopeless war
against Hitler's Germany, and was left virtually
without any help despite the military alliance
with France & Britain (sory for "tt"-mispelling in my
previous post). On the top of it, Poland was sold
to Soviets by the USA & Britain. In short, Poland
was the victim in every each way.

Now, those who were comfy in the West are brazen
enough to lecture Poland, to patronize Poland--
it's extremely immoral for Westerners to do so.
The Barbara's posts in this thread can serve as
an illustration. She has read some garbage prose
and already tells me how it was in Poland.
She didn't escape from a Nazy death train. She didn't
see her children murdered soon after in front of
her, some forty meters away, with other Jews
keeping her mouth shut by force, so that she wouldn't
cause the death of them all. She didn't talk to
people who managed to survive a Soviet gulag but
were missing several fingers, lost to the Siberian
frost-bite. I was surrounded by people who went through
such tragedies, and many more about which I don't
even want to talk, and she is trying to tell me how
it was there, in Poland. This kind of Western
ignorant arrogance is extremely unjust and insensitive.
And (ironically?) these Western ignorant statements
are the fuel which provides antisemites in Poland with
quite a milage: you see--these Polish versions of
Boobakis and Hanses say--what Jews did to us? It is
because of Jews that Westerners treat us like this,
it is Jewish propaganda, Rotschild's money, etc.
But it is not Jewish doing. It is regular stupidity
in the West and the most unethical attitude of many
Westerners toward the victim of WWII - toward Poland.

Phil, this is not written for your so to
speak benefit, but for others. I have always
appreciated your objective and sympathetic
toward Poland statements, for which I was
grateful (isn't it sad that one has to be grateful
for what should be standard--but it's far
from being that good, from standard, and I am,
once again, grateful).

Wlod, one day, when its calmer weather, I tell you about my friend, Anna
from Auchwitz. A Polish Jew.

For today, it's everyone's duty to their own lives to live them as fully as
they can, without judgement of others or blaming of one's self - this is the
highest courage their can be - that's what she taught me.
