I am disputing that you, Randy, who has never played a rated game in eight years, are a real chess player. Sam Sloan Prove it, Sloan, by playing him. He's provided the purse, all you have to do is show up. Is this concept that hard for you to understand? Or are you just a big ****in' CHICKEN, unwilling to put your skill where your mouth is (since the money's already been provided for your broke ass)? (Though this isn't a rhetorical question, I don't expect an answer. Sloan will puss-out as predicted.) MN |

Sam Sloan This sort of illogic would suggest that GM Larry Evans is not a real chess player. It would also suggest that GM Bobby Fischer is not a real chess player. I've put up numerous games where I beat masters, senior masters, won Grand Prix tournaments, state championships. Sam Sloan, now an A player, considers himself a real player but not me. Get real. I've only been playing for 12. Sam must be a fish. |

It takes more studying to become a 1500 player than to get a PhD in mathematics according to Sloan, and he's 1900-something. My what 50+ years of chessplaying will do for a motivated player. Sam Sloan dared come forth and utter:
Yes, I could easily play Bill Brock,Taylor Kingston, Randy Bauer, and the top 5 players in the USCF in a simultaneous exhibition in both Chinese Chess and shogi at the same time and win all of my games without difficulty. There is however one opponent would be dangerous. International Master Larry Kaufman is much stronger than I in both chess and shogi. He once beat me in Chinese chess too, but that was 20 years ago when I was not very good. However, as long as you keep Larry Kaufman out of the game, I can easily beat all of the rest of them simultaneously and possibly blindfolded as well. Yeah, I'm sure you could easily play those guys and kick their asses, and that's because Chinese Chess and shogi SUCK! Chinese Chess is for little kids. I could beat you, Sloan, at the REAL game, blindfolded and with my hands tied behind my back. I'd just have to move the pieces with my teeth. Or gums, rather. I had my front teeth kicked out a few years back when I got into a fight with one of my grandfather's drinking buddies down at the Legion Hall when he said Fischer should have lost that game against Botvinnik. So don't come selling that swagger around here, Sloan! I'll show you how a real man plays! |

I will be demonstrating both games on future episodes of my "Sam Sloan TV Show" which starts as a regularly scheduled weekly TV Show on Monday, June 27, 2005 at 3:30 PM on Channel 34 and 67 in Brooklyn and on http://www.bcat.tv/bcat Channel 1 on the Internet. Sam Sloan I'm really interested in watching this. What time will it be on the Internet station? 3:30 PM of what time zone, GMT? And, will it be recorded and made available online like your previous chess episode was? It was very interesting, and I'm hoping more will be available ![]() Please let me know! ^^ |
