That's Allan Fifield.
Since you're needed to resume as editor I'll vote for you. However you
have some stiff competition if Richard Fauber or John Larkins were
considered. They edited Chess Voice, the precedent to the CCJ. I
tried to vote but I guess the election is over at the Calchess site.

"You"? Not my poll, Sam. Blame Eric Hicks, who has 10 votes now, which
equals five votes for each of the two issues he put out in his year as
editor. He left out Dorsch, Withgitt, Yu, and Poschmann, as well as
everyone who edited Chess Voice, which preceded CCJ.

Larkins inspired me when I was a kid. I'd go to his house after journalism
classes and tell him what a horrible job he was doing, and how much better
I'd do things, and he would just chuckle because I was a stupid kid with
no real world experience or experience as a volunteer.
