So the hidden money way could be: KGB-Notorious web site-Main editor-Kingston- Chess Federation-Brennen. You are at the end of that chain, so maybe your part is not too big. But, you have a bit of that KGB cake, too. See what happens when people give Tomic just a *little bit* of attention and lend him the tiniest bit of credibility? 138.163.0.42 Country: United States City: San Diego, California 138.163.0.42 is the "NNTP-Posting-Host" listed for the message from Gambit. It is the IP address of some computer, but it is not the IP Address of the computer that Gambit is using himself. Whenever you log in to your ISP, the ISP gives you a new IP address. So the IP address of the user's computer is not useful for figuring out where the user is (or who he is). The "NNTP-Posting-Host" is instead the IP address of some computer on the chain of servers leading from the user to the Internet. The computer with the address 138.163.0.42 may belong to Gambit's ISP, or to some company to which Gambit's ISP has subcontracted. The fact that it is in San Diego doesn't tell you anything about where Gambit himself is. If you see two messages from different people with the same "NNTP-Posting-Host", it doesn't prove that one is a pseudonym for the other. It could just be that they are both accessing the Internet from the same ISP, and the ISP is using the same server for both of them. But there are many ISP's and many servers. So such a coincidence may be interesting, even if it proves nothing. |
