Bill Brock, who appears to have admitted to
molesting young boys by doing something worse than showing them porn material (though I do NOT hold him to the letter of what he wrote), can act as Taylor Kingston's sports psychology adviser. Grudge Match II; steel cage. *** I take it that Larry "Thai soldiers on leave" Parr, frequent defender of the child molester Sam Sloan, endorses Sloan's self-contradictory defense of the convicted child molester Jefferson Poland? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jefferson_Poland http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?...oldid=41759835 http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?...did=463352 07 Parr's defense of Sloan and Sloan's defense of Poland are matters of record. This is not ancient history: Sloan made these Wikipedia entries in March 2006. When the facts are against Parr, he goes ad hominem. |

I don't particularly care for Innes, but haven't even seen implicit
anti-Semitism in his postings here. IRS gives us two extra days this year. It's no treat for whiny agnostic CPAs with religious clients, what with Passover & Easter immediately before. Next year in Brookhaven! |

"I don't like to bore rgcm readers with my games, but since you
insist, here's one with Stephen Barbre, who, if memory serves, has won the US Absolute Correspondence Chess Championship, definitely a postal master-class player:" Barbre-Kingston, 1981 Golden Knights Finals, 8/1983-3/1984: 1. d4 Nf6 2. Nc3 d5 3. Bg5 Nbd7 4. Nf3 g6 5. e3 Bg7 6. Bd3 O-O 7. O-O c5 8. Ne5 Nxe5 9. dxe5 Ng4 10. Be2 d4 11. exd4 cxd4 12.Nb5 Nxe5 13. Nxd4 Qb6 14. Bxe7 Re8 15. Bh4 Qxb2 16. Rb1 Qxa2 17. Bb5 Bg4 18. f3 Bd7 19. Kg2 Qxc2 33. g4 Qb2 0-1 How do we know that the winner wasn't using computer help? Yes, I think it is entirely possible that Taylor Kingston overwhelmed the absolute champ by consulting with Atari 2600 chess program, retrofitted to run on a Cray supercomputer. His partner in crime? Bob Hyatt, of course. Together, they "stole" six million dollars worth of processor time from the Cray Corporation in order to win this one game. Note the hyperactivity of Black's Queen, snarfing pawns -- that's all the "proof" we need. "Never take the Queen's Knight pawn with your Queen." -- somebody famous |

Or search for his defense of the posting "Being a Jew and a Liar".
It's in rgcm. Ewww. Defending child molestation does not necessarily make one a child molester, but (shorn of context) it's not a nice thing. So too this.... |

"help bot" wrote in message oups.com... Near-IM Innes challenged: "you want to play too? bring it, i'll play you both simultaneously. or put some money up. anything! anything but more saxon würds" **more würds, i'll play you too! but will need to increase the time limit to 15 minutes, in case of the 'i am beat but won't resign and am here to eat your time factor', a straegy learned in newsgroups **as a matter of interest, does anyone here actually play chess? i have asked people before, but they have been unresponsive. i tried to ask if anyone had encountered a certain variation OTB and someone wrote in to say what the book line was... ;( **a week ago i was speaking with a local tyro, a 2350 otb player, who says he is now 1600, and together we discussed endings - neither of us knew anything about them, nor much more about openings either [we both lied] but only with würds! since the sense was that the fight was everything, and remembering positions that you couldn't work out for yourself ensures many a patzer stays a patzer **with a combined 80 years of chess playing, neither of us had ever encountered a KBN v K endgame, and we had to 'figure out' which corner you have to get the K to, rather than 'remember' which it was **i wonder if anyone here has ever played a KBN v K endgame, from either side? **Phil Innes Brave words, a near-IM challenging to simultaneously tackle two OTB patzers, with Sloan as his second! But how brave a Celt would he be if challenged by another chessic titan? How bold a Celt to tackle Fritz-bot or Keene? Evans or Smirnov? Spassky or Jim Beam? True masters of the game. Flail away if you will at the patzers and duffers, the hapless victims of self-mates and hanging Queens; but fool yourself not into thinking you are very brave or a bold adventurer, climbing these tiny molehills! -- help bot |

I'm not sure [defending child molestation] would be considered
"nice" even in context. Attorneys defend alleged child *molesters* all the time; that's an honorable profession. You are correct to correct me: defending child molestation in the abstract, as Larry "Thai soldiers on leave" Parr has done, is not nice. |
