*Beatriz has been a one-woman wrecking ball of American
chess in more ways than one. Randy Bauer was on the
board while all this happened and never said peep.* (Parr)

*"Randy didn't ask a question.," jr., Liarry's dittohead.
Jr. , reading seems to be a problem for you: ---Is it just
the word "liar" or would those cases where one refers to
"Liarry" ----count?* (jamesrynd)

When will Rynd play Dowd is also a question. But it's
a stupid question because they're both the same person.

The pertinent fact is that Randy Bauer sat on the board
and praised Beatriz Marinello as a great leader while all
this crap happened under his very nose.

All thse ad homs are merely aimed at changing the subject
and deflecting Randy's fiduciary responsibility for not telling
us about all the things we are now learning from Sam Sloan.
Randy knew about all these sweetheart deals at the time --
or he should have -- but he remained a good team player,
which is to say, supinely silent.

That's why I'm voting for Sam before my membership expires.

The real issue is how our dues money was wasted, not the red
herring of not how many times "Liarry" was or was not used.

*Thanks, jr, for once again telling us that you think Larry's
nail coincides directly with your head.* (Bauer)

*On cue, our second rate editor and third-world author
checks in. As usual, rather than answering the question,
he hurls an insult.* (Bauer)

Randy didn't ask a question.

As usual, he cast the first stone -- and it boomeranged.

Stones don't boomerang; bommerangs boomerang.

Go back to my post and actually read it this time. That thing at the
end of the sentence, it's called a question mark. Admit your gross
error, say you're sorry and promise to do better next time.

Yeah, right - when pigs fly.

That would be another 246 --- and I think these searches actually yield
undercounts, because if I'm not mistaken they often don't count
multiple messages in the same thread.

"Liarry", as you know, was a tiresome epithet invented by Jerry Bibuld
and copied by a few others. JB however is far from being the rgcp
leader in the tiresome epithet department.

I recall when Jerry unveiled the "Liarry" moniker. I don't buy the
"two Liarries" because I believe that GM Evans is generally honorable
and truthful. I used to also find "Liarry" a tiresome epithet, but
over the last couple of years it appears to me to be accurate more
often than not.

Ho ho ho. Yuk yuk yuk. If true this zoning matter will rank among the
all time best USCF-snafus. Dat ol' country lawyer! Ho ho ho. Yuk yuk

SWITCH AND BAIT

I personally like Bill Hall. He seems to be a good guy and a smart
guy. He is a graduate of MIT. He is an expert strength chess player,
which helps. I am willing to overlook his past misdeeds committed
while Beatriz Marinello was president, because I realize that she
hired him to his present job and he had no choice but to obey her
orders. However, Bill Hall needs to come clean now. He needs to reveal
the full extent of the problem. He needs to disclose to us how much
money in total has been paid by the USCF to Beatriz Marinello. -- Sam
Sloan

"A financial professional should NEVER do an improper act because the
"Boss" will fire you if he does not. The proper response is to refuse
to do it (and let the firing begin) or of course resign."
-- Kenneth Thomas (former USCF Chief Financial Officer)

Randy Bauer, former budget director for the State of Iowa,
would much rather discuss how many times "Liarry" has
appeared in this forum or how stones don't boomerang than what happened
on his watch.

Why am I not surprised?

Because Bill Hall is a graduate of MIT has no meaning in business. So
what? Bill Gates is a college droupout, and smarter and richer than
Bill Hall. Hall never should have acted improperly and betrayed the
corporation. You guys can fight this one out. I am far happier building
a new repblic on St Kitts and Nevis. I don't have to deal with this
bull****. Over and over again, a clique of people steal from a large
income pool. What happens in FIDE is repeated over and over again in
the USCF. We just get to see it in the USCF out in the open.

Hey Genius,

It's spelled Association, not Assocation. Hope your new
republic has a dictionary in the house.

THE TWO LIARRIES

Be careful, Herr Bauer. If you say too many nice things such as
"GM Evans is generally honorable and truthful" you may spoil your
chance to get a grudge match with a legend so that we can all enjoy
the spectacle of watching you get wiped out 4-0.

P.S. Please tell us more about what a great leader Beatriz Marinello
was while you served on the board.
