I have hung around until just about the last possible
minute because I will be both travelling and working on
the new edition of Dato Tan's memoir for Australia.

Lynn Pan, who is the best known Chinese writer of
non-fiction in Asia (authoress of Sons of the Yellow
Emperor and The Encyclopedia of the Overseas Chinese)
gave some great quotations for the next back cover of
the memoir, which may have appeared in a review in
Hong Kong or Taipei. I'm not sure at this point.

A great cliche, "a rattling good read." I got "a
rattling good read" from the biggest author in this
part of the world.

While I'm gone the ratpackers can take their
best shots because I won't be responding until
I get back home.
