For the record: I am formally requesting an interview with Mr. Brennen and/or Mr. Kingston on the topics of CHESS. They will have the right to review all questions in advance should they agree. They will also have the right to review all of their answers prior to submission. They will also have the right to remove four of ten questions proposed and replace with any question from a group of four alternate questions. This is an honest and valid offer. I would also extend the same offer to Dr. Blair. Rob Mitchell |

I do not wish to relinquish that right. Beyond that, if Rob Mitchell is seeking my permission to reproduce material by me at Chessville, he is certainly not going to get it. |

For an article about a competent parodist, I recommend: http://www.slate.com/id/2151657/?nav=tap3 And unlike Rob, he always seeks permission before publishing his. |

Question : Have you ever considered a career in law? http://www-tech.mit.edu/V114/N12/briefs1.12w.html It's not obvious to me that mechanical translation of an entire text into dialect fits nicely into what we traditionally call parody or satire. You guys might break new ground by litigating this. |
