Default Chess Activity Levels, Adult and Scholastic

In association with the 'big plank' election issue of Scholastics as
identified in another thread by Larry Parr, I would like to be better
informed of two factors of activity levels of USCF members, and also to
differentiate between Scholastics and Adult members.

1.1) 6 months ago we discussed how many Adult players were active in playing
rated games. Of the 30,000 [in round numbers] Adult members responses
indicated that between 11,000 and 14,000 had played at least one rated game
in the past 12 months.

Question 1.2) What I should like to know of those players who did play a
rated game, is how many games did they play in the entire year, stated as an
average, but also how many of them played less than 12 rated games/year.

2.1) I assume that the rate for Scholastic involvement will be much higher,
and practically all the 50,000 [again in round numbers] will have played a
rated game.

Question 2.2) But should like to understand the same as for adults: how many
games did Scholastic members play in the entire year, stated as an average,
but also how many of them played less than 12 rated games/year.

If anyone can inform these questions, I would be obliged for your response.

Cordially, Phil Innes
