Not true. I can't find the spot in The God Delusion right now, but
Dawkins praises a few of his beliving friends all of whom are high end
scholars on the subject. But, yes, Dawlkins is clearly contemptuous of
the broad run of believers. In several cases he quotes from the hate
mail he has received, much of it from the southern United States where
belief is as strong as education is weak. He insinuates that some
religious elements in the US are on the same level of sophistication as
the Taliban of Afghanistan.

I was probably the first person to use the word "idiot" in this thread.
Maybe "idiot" is too strong a word. But I don't see much difference between
someone who's delusional and a mental defective.

Lance is too dumb to tie his shoelaces. So he misconstrued your

Yes, I think I got that. My point was that *Lance* didn't get it,
because he is incapable of reading and incapable of reasoning. He
