Marcus Roberts If you ever start acting on some of the things you keep threatening in the newsgroups, you may attract the attention of real live reporters. You may become the focus of a human interest article, deep inside the daily paper. Your newsgroup posts, spelling errors, typos, and boasts will be dragged out, quoted and discussed. Old opponents will be interviewed, past disputes revisited. How do you think you will look ? I have never heard of a public school teacher being a millionaire. Marcus, please do not take this the wrong way. Your frustration with organized chess politicians is understandable. I don't think it serves your cause to rail as you have in the newsgroups. Mike is right. It becomes part of a "quotable" record which could and would be dredged up in the future. I applaude your investment of your own money and time into these efforts. Most folks don't or won't put their money where their mouth is. :-) Lets begin a dialog within this group as to weather or not the current organized chess edifices are structurally soulnd and can simply me reformed or if they require demolition to the foundation and a complete rebuilding on another site. Rob (and Kirsan)
The cost to me is greater in legal bills if I shut up. The cost is also greater to me as executed threats. What FIDE and the USCF want is for me to SHUT UP! When I file suit, against the USCF, in a month or two, I will HAVE TO SHUT UP. I think that the date of litigation is the date in which I will have to go silent, and stick to e-mail and limited quotes. I just want make my mark now on with my views, (while I can) so that if I end up going to Turkey (!??) or Germany, everyone knows the deal with me. It is a little easier being a declared opposition delegate, having done similar work before. I won't kiss ass for a VOTE in FIDE. I won't take a bribe to be a FIDE Delegate. I won't take a drug test to be a FIDE Delegate *ONLY* reason I am a FIDE Delegate is due to my personal wealth! For the record, I SUPPORTED KIRSAN and FIDE to begin with. I ended up being told to break the law to join FIDE. I can't accept this, as a human being, much less a chess politician, but far more a powerful politician who sees US interests being sacrificed to international gangsters. FIDE already stole about 1,000 dollars from me! Clearly, upon legal acceptance of my appointment by FIDE, to get along with FIDE at all, theses posts will have to tone down some. I just fear Kirsan isn't getting my e-mail. Ask Larry Parr if he wants to be on the FIDE web site? He can be my translator. FIDE got a little upset when he was listed on my list with FIDE. I don't think that Kirsan and Larry get along, at all! Sincerely, Marcus Roberts Permanent Delegate of Saint Christopher and Nevis to FIDE Rob wrote: Mike Murray wrote: On 29 Dec 2006 03:13:49 -0800, wrote: Well, since I am a public school teacher, let's just kiss good bye every chesss club that is at a PUBLIC place.
