My proposal, which I have advocated for 30 years long before I became
a member of the board, is to make the USCF rating system international
by first rating a few high level tournaments including the Olympiads
which would give every top level player in the world a USCF rating and
then invite other countries to have their events USCF rated upon
payment of applicable fees.

I have presented my proposals to the board several times and each time
they have been voted down.

If I am re-elected, I will present my proposal again and again and
again until I finally find a board that agrees to it, because I
consider this to be the most important step to expanding and improving
the USCF and to get us to start making money again.

It is hard to imagine this when we have long money for ten of the last
12 years and have lost $2 million over all, but one must think about
it and realize that the reason we were able to lose $2 million and
still stay in business is that we had $2 million to lose, because the
USCF was highly profitable at one time, before the Goichberg-Gang took
control in 1996.
