Miami Chess Open
In a few weeks the Miami Chess Open will take place. Big production.
Lots of prize money for a chess tournament. Based on about 750 or something like that. It will be interesting to see how many players south Florida can draw. Offhand, I'm gonna guess Miami will pull in somewhat less than 300 and the promoter will lose a big chunk of dough. But what do I know? Nothing. Maybe I'm wrong and Miami pulls 950. Old Haasie
