Seems to me that this may not be a real post by Dr. Eric Moscow.

It's real. All funding to Polgar and Texas Tech has been pulled. I've been
told that Polgar and Truong must find funding for this month's event at
Texas Tech.

I hope something positive will be achieved by their organization
efforts. I am curious, are they, or will they soon be setting up a
web site to help in their organizing efforts? Do you need a name for
the group? I suggest CFUS which can play as both "Chess For Us" and
"Chess For the United States."

You'd have a couple of acronym related considerations. The
natural pronunciation would be see-fuss. Now that we're in
TN, someone might get confused and think we're related
to Hank Williams Jr. Or there's this entry from the urban
dictionary:
