A man has a seizure and dies, sadly.] The question begs, how does one die sadly?- Hide quoted text - - Show quoted text - This problem of making up stuff really has destroyed all of chess worldwide. All of these fake bomb threats by Paul Truong, now fake numbers from Channing. It is just whatever pops into their head. Truong has this mental thing with BOMBS, and Channing likes big numbers. The Ethics Committee needs to force the chessplayers to quit lying, like the bar assocaition. There is no more truth anymore, and this negative environment has litarelly destroyed all of chess in a world chess war. I speak the truth. Even the UN General Secretary got in on this fight. I have Felony charges in Europe, and becasue I am an Ambassdor, nobody even tells me what the charges were. We are all up **** creek. Kirsan is in front of the boat, and we have no paddle. We are heading for TURD lake if Kirsan doesn't do something fast, and a big whirloolp, and we are about to get washed down the drain.... If he had claimed that she had given *birth* to 300,000 children, *that* really would have been "one of the most preposterous, ridiculous and absurd claims imaginable". But he didn't, although the title of your post could be taken as implying that. Even if Mr. Channing is making false claims, one should still be careful not to, in turn, appear to be making false claims about him! John Savard |

So while FIDE threatens to smuggle guns into Nevis to mout a coup de ta, to mount a coup d'etat? teachers who are sent out to a network of schools who have contracted for their services. Examples are Dean Ippolito's school in New Jersey and, I believe, Sophia Rohde's school in New York, plus Chess-in-the- Schools. Simply faxing the "Polgar curriculum" for free to a school district should not count. The real issues here are that the programs that receive this "endorsement" claim the right to have a banner ad posted on the uschess website and this was the outcome of the "retreat" by insiders to Florida in 2006. How many children do you think have received chess instruction from the Susan Polgar Foundation? What is the correct number, Mr. Sloan? zero Why should I believe you, Sam. Didn't you claim to be a former rated USCF master, and a current USCF rated expert in front of a camera? Perhaps if you had received instruction from Ms. Polgar on how to play chess, you might be able to achieve your dream of being a USCF Master. Susan Polgar does more for chess in one day than you have done in your entire life, Mr. Sloan. What has Sam Sloan ever done for chess in the US? |

Ron is correct.
It was at Channing's insistence that the USCF Purchase "Internet Insurance". In 2006, I made a motion that the Internet insurance be canceled. My motion lost. It is true that a majority voted for it, but that was because Channing was extremely insistent on it. It was also Channing's idea to hold the "Retreat" to Florida. At the time it was first announced, I assumed that Channing was going to pay for it because he had just gotten elected on the basis of being a very wealthy man. No vote was taken and I am sure that the board would never have voted for this. I and many other USCF members were stunned and shocked when we learned that the USCF had to pay for it. At the last Executive Board meeting, Bill Goichberg proposed that the Internet Insurance be canceled. All board members were in favor of this, except for Channing who said that he would resign from the board if the Internet Insurance were canceled. The other board members have been treading lightly about this threat or promise. We are waiting to see what will happen next. Sam Sloan |

from day one. In the first place, I did not think there was any such thing as Internet Insurance. I repeatedly demand that Bill Hall tell us what the Internet Insurance covered. He refused to answer the question and the rest of the board would not back me up on this. All of the things that Ron Suarez is complaining about, I complained about too, at the time they were occurring. The reason you do not know that is most of my complaints were deleted from the USCF Forum as "violations of the AUG". Sam Sloan |
