Default Channing claims that Polgar has 300,000 kids

In one of the most preposterous, ridiculous and absurd claims
imaginable, Joel Channing claims that Polgar has 300,000 kids in her
program.

However, there is no evidence that Polgar has any kids in her program.
Polgar has no schools, no students and no program anywhere, as far as
anybody has been able to find out.

Here is what Joel Channing wrote in the BINFOS:

"We currently have five executed endorsement agreements. The number
of
children recently reported as receiving chess instruction from our
partners'
curricula and/or participating in their other programs is as follows:

"AF4C 25,000
"Berkeley Chess School 5,000
"Kasparov Foundation 75,000 - 100,000
"Kid Chess 6,000
"Susan Polgar Foundation 300,000

Why is that so preposterous, ridiculous and absurd? How many children
do you think have received chess instruction from the Susan Polgar
Foundation?
What is the correct number, Mr. Sloan?

Default Channing claims that Polgar has 300,000 kids

I was teaching a chess class in the Queens Public Library in Flushing
Queens New York near to the Polgar Chess Center for a number of years.
I never met even one kid who was in the Polgar Chess Program. However,
many of the kids in my class were also in the Chess in the Schools
with IM Yuri Lapshun as their teacher or were in other chess programs
around the city.

The number of 300,000 probably represents the number of all kids
combined in chess programs in the entire United States. The USCF only
has about 30,000 scholastic members. If the 300,000 claim is true,
then she has ten times more kids in her personal program than the USCF
has in the entire United States.

It reminds me of the alleged 'hundreds of millions of viewers' a 2005
chess broadcast allegedly drew. Trolgar was involved with that as
well.

So while FIDE threatens to smuggle guns into Nevis to mout a coup
de ta, Polgar makes the truth more hard to find with these crazy
claims.
Just what is truthful anymore? Are we going to have another chess
election
and Chessplayers just start SHOOTING in Nevis?

Who can call who crazy? The Channing lies like this, I am attempted
with FIDE arrest,
and S Poglar keeps up with these ridiculous claims.

30,000 would be crazy.....

It was actually Carol Channing. She said:
"Hey! Didya hear about that Polgar woman? The one in the sheitl? I
wouldn't say she likes to have oompah oompah but she has three hundred
thousand kids! Didya like that one? No, not you. The one in the
sheitl. Is it sheitl or shtetl? For you - shtetl. Polgar has a friend
called Sam Sloan. He's known as the bacon-crunching sheitl-bashing
bishop-banging space-suit-farting lap-top-seeking Morden-cordon-Auden-
Warden and here's a song about the USCF. [laughter] [Carol sings]
Polgar polgar polgar, koonoo mata mia. Tingo tingo tingo, Kala kala
kala ...
[A demon appears on the stage]
Carol: Gaaaaaaah!!
Audience: Gaaaaaah!!!

All of this done by the Susan Polgar Foundation, Inc. with total
reported revenue for 2006 per form 990EZ of $ 91,102.00 and total
expenses of $79,039.00. Of those expenses, only $27,035.00 appears to
be related to chess and children. So that breaks down to a whopping
90cents per child touched by the Susan Polgar Foundation. Maybe they
were facilitating 299,999 kids via other people's programs? Maybe Joel
misread the numbers off the cocktail napkin?
