"Nomen Nescio" wrote: From: XXXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX To: Verio Abuse Team , Verio Legal Sent: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Subject: Your customer ishipress.com, samsloan.com, shamema.com [ ... ] Thank you so much for deciding to terminate the account of Mr Sloan. He is a dangerous, semideranged, convicted felon who makes a form of living (in addition to scrounging off welfare) by threatening and abusing an incredible, almost unbelievable, number of innocent people who have by the vagaries of chance wandered into his path in the past 31 years. To perpetrate this he utilized the services of Verio, etc. Sloan is an investigative journalist, like Jack Anderson. Sloan's detractors keep referring to his checkered past in order to discredit his research findings. They seek to dismiss Sloan's work so USCF charlatans can continue robbing funds from the member treasury, and to hide their criminal shenanigans under the slimy rocks. Now they sought to silence his website altogether to suppress the story because they genuinely fear implications of what Sloan's story says. Those who follow politics will also recall Republican Party antics with regards to striking ex-felons from the voting rolls in Florida, thus affecting the outcome of the 2000 and 2004 elections. Many states do not prohibit ex-felons from voting, and there is no reason why due process representative rights should be summarily terminated for people who have done the time to pay for the crime. After all, ex-felons pay taxes as well, and America was founded on precepts of representation for all, including those compelled to pay taxes. It is not clear that a felony charge should stick to Mr. Sloan since that all stemmed from an incident where he had "kidnapped" his own daughter (sic!), boiling over from some child custody battle... Sloan was motivated by his honest feelings there, and an honesty which also carries over for his tasks with investigative journalism. I might add, as well, that in an unlawful effort to strike ex-felons from voting rolls many non-felons were unconstitutionally disenfranchised. ... Complaints from any Joe Blow about webpages are usually ignored by abuse teams; however, this prior record with Verio will expedite getting Mr Sloan's future sites shut down in a few days. Therefore Mr. Sloan's USCF legal filings next will be posted henceforth to these newsgroups. - regards - jb (Joe Blow) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 81% Say Nation Headed In Wrong Direction http://www.nytimes.com/2008/04/04/us... 070&emc=eta1 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
