That is why he was elected. Now, we are told that we have to spend

he charges it to the USCF.

That is how rich guys get rich. They make their own, and spend other
people's, money.

In every professional area I was in, electing some rich guy to the
Board of the school or society or whatever was always seen as a magic
bullet, and they always ended up costing more than they provided to
the organization. It's a fool's solution.

They have liability protection for officers and employees under
different policies. That the policy would not be useful was not
unknown.

The USCF already has "Directors and Officers" insurance. That will not
change. That is the insurance that is being used to defend my lawsuit.

Joel Channing wants an additional kind of insurance called "Internet
Insurance". I am not sure exactly what that does but it seems that
Joel Channing believes that we need it to keep the forums moderated so
that the moderators will be free to remove postings critical of Joel
Channing without being sued.

I'd reckon that internet insurance covers the losses that the USCF
would incur due to an internet outage.

It apparently also covered loses arising from denial of service
attacks. That would be a big deal for some place like Amazon, but it's
not obvious that it would be significant for the USCF.
