I saw this post over at Susan's blog in the "Saturday Open Forum" topic.
"Anonymous obvious man said... /"Goichberg is so hated on this forum. Did he have anything to do with the controversial move to Crossville? Did he hire friends and family to USCF positions? Was he responsible for holding a national tournament in Oklahoma? What, exactly, did he do to earn him vitriol?"/ Goichberg decided on a personal crusade to destroy Susan Polgar through his actions against her and her chldren as President of USCF. As a result of this, Goichberg has earned the scorn and curses of thousands of Susan Polgar fans from around the world. There will be parties of celebration when Goichberg is out of power. He has no right to soil the reputation of GM Polgar! Pass it on!" I posted a follow up of two questions after quoting the second paragraph: /"What did he do to Susan's children? Haven't they been protected?"/ My post was almost immediately pulled by the moderator. The original post is still there. You be the judge... -- In the dark times Will there also be singing? Yes, there will be singing About the dark times. (Brecht) Cordially, Rev. J.D. Walker |

Heh, now the moderator has posted this: "Anonymous Blog police at work said... The post which was deleted came from some fake Rev. J.D. Walker. The IP and header matched. Another one caught. Blog police Saturday, April 12, 2008 8:05:00 PM CDT" What have you caught sir? A person trying to find the truth of a claim that your moderators are too inept to deal with? Nice job. ![]() -- In the dark times Will there also be singing? Yes, there will be singing About the dark times. (Brecht) Cordially, Rev. J.D. Walker |

Seriously for once:
A bit more than 1 1/2 years ago, I noted veiled threats to said children (identifying their school) posted to the P forum in the context of a discussion of S. The poster identified himself as one A----- M-----, who at that time (as can be confirmed via readily- available sources independent of yours truly), was a correspondent of S-----. http://tinyurl.com/5gp7pz (My comments allude to material deleted on both the blog and Wikipedia.) I say this simply to note that IMO, the threats were not imaginary. However, linkage to Bill Goichberg seems ludicrous on its face. I would appreciate it if *all* parties would omit the children from the discussion going forward. |

Does libel mean anything anymore? I would appreciate it if *all* parties would omit the children from the discussion going forward. This is wise. Yet the moderator left it in on Susan's blog... Not surprising. Gotta build up sympathy for Susie. |

If you want to do something constructive (for a change of pace), write to and tell him to reissue the 1976 Papp / NY Shakespeare production of Threepenny. |
