Surely the point of the recent war in Iraq which cost, and is still

costing
many American and British lives, was to enable the Iraqi people to enjoy

such
rights, rather than living under the dictatorship of Saddam Hussein?

Are you suggesting that Nick should be *denied* those rights?

This is kinda a lame argument. Nobody is denying him any rights. We just
wish he'd exercise those rites in the proper venue.

You mean, the way Hanke does?

To me (an ignorant Brit) it appears only that what he is doing is

redressing a
seriously distorted and right-wing imbalance in the posts of StanB,

Briarroot
and you (among several others, although those several others have not

attacked
him in the manner in which the three of you have, repeatedly, and continue

to
do).

No, Stan, it's not censorship. Your lies (which have been refuted many

times)
are still on Google for anybody with nothing better to do than to read the
same...

I have never lied and you have never refuted anything. Au contraire, you
have conceded many things. Including, that you are unmarried, have trouble
forming interpersonal relationships, and are not well liked at work.

The item under dispute---"He Nick is a polished bigot. Priggishly
educated, he permits his prejudices take
precedence over his proper sense. Put that in your pipe and puff it."

I don't read every post between StanB and Mark Houlsby.
But I have proved that StanB has lied about me.

Here's a link to the evidence in my post in "Tim Hanke's Cultural Prejudice"
(30 July 2003):

Mark Houlsby already has responded to StanB's ad hominem fantasies about him.

The item under dispute---"He Nick is a polished bigot. Priggishly
educated, he permits his prejudices take precedence over his proper sense.

StanB seems rather inconsistent, though always ludicrous, in his ad hominem
fantasies about me.

In the thread, "Zhang Zhong revisited" (28 May 2003), StanB wrote that I am,
among other things, "uneducateable" (sic), and in the thread, "Tim Hanke's
Cultural Prejudice" (26 July 2003), StanB referred to my "pidgin English".

Could StanB ever understand the relationship between Leonard Bast and
Helen Schlegel in "Howard's End" by E.M. Forster? :-)
