Default Where were the personnel cuts concentrated?

Although the entire senior management of the publications department
were dismissed as was Tom Brownscombe, we are left wondering where the
bulk of the other 14 staff cuts fell? Were they relatively evenly
distributed in all departments or were they concentrated in one or two
departments, while other departments considered critical were spared?

I'm guessing that the part timers were probably let go, but am wondering
if Stan can fill us in on how many were let go from publications, how
many from accounting and how many from the B&E operation?

Given the huge accounting flubups, I'm wondering if accounting bore the
brunt of Booz's wrath?

Also what happened to Barb Vandermark and Judy and Joan? I'm betting
Prince is still there as they need someone to keep working on upgrading
technology. If Mike Nolan has already quit and returned home, this will
be another serious blow to USCF's technology upgrade.

Best Regards,

Bruce

In my resignation letter, I offered to continue to assist the Federation
from Lincoln once I got things under control here, including resuming
systems work. In fact, I'm working on something related to the USCF's
computer systems this evening, having spent the last two days trying to
get a few phones and Internet access working again after the lightning
strike that fried just about every electrical device in the house.
(Thank heavens for insurance!)

We're looking at 3-4 weeks of renovation and reconstruction here, and
quite honestly I concluded that I was more needed in Lincoln by my wife
and family than in New Windsor by the USCF.

I will almost certainly be able to work more on systems stuff from here
than I could have while working in New Windsor, because that was not my
primary focus there.

Mike,

I'm sorry what happened at home. I hope everything goes well.

But man, on a lighter note, I now have a very little house on the prairie feel
about your place
